Accessibility

Revelo is for everyone

Music and brand deals shouldn't be harder for anyone to reach. Here's what we do, what we've checked, and where we still have work to do.

What we aim for

We build Revelo to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA. That means real buttons and links you can reach with a keyboard, text that has enough contrast, pictures that have descriptions, forms with labels, and pages a screen reader such as VoiceOver, TalkBack, NVDA or JAWS can make sense of.

Our accessibility menu (the round button at the bottom of every page) is a convenience on top of that. It is not a replacement for a site that works properly, and it does not make a site accessible on its own.

What we check

  • An automated check (axe-core, WCAG 2.0 and 2.1 A and AA) runs on our main public and signed-in screens every time we release. It currently reports no serious or critical issues.
  • The same screens are checked at phone width for anything that spills off the side or is too small to tap.
  • Dialogs trap and restore keyboard focus, and animation respects your device's reduce-motion setting.

Automated checks find only part of the problems. We have not yet had an outside accessibility audit.

Something not working for you?

Email support@joinrevelo.co or use Help. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do and what got in the way, and the assistive technology you use if you like. We read every message, reply within five working days, and will offer another way to do whatever you needed if we can't fix it straight away.
